Our Visit at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

Jessica Harrelson once said that “Spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is.” I could not agree with her more. I may like the cold weather but I love what beauty and life Spring offers. This is the reason why I consider myself absolutely addicted to taking photos of plants and trees, not to forget all kinds of gorgeous blooms.

**I looked like I am worried there will be bees** 😁

**Wild Daffodils**, perennial flower that grows from bulb and it’s commonly an ornamental plant famous for its pale-yellow flowers with bright yellow central trumpet. It’s good to know that its bulbs and leaves are poisonous when ingested.

**Armenian Grape Hyacinth** is an easy to grow Spring flower.

Didier Tulips can comes in yellow, pink and purple.

Flowering Dogwood, is a North American tree knows for its wide canopy and beautiful blooms.

**Japanese Quince** is known for its bloom and its apples-shaped fruit.

There is so much to see in this botanical garden but it was not a planned trip so we had to hurry and drive back home. Maybe next time we can plan better so we can see more of it. By the way, there is a store at the place where you can buy souvenirs and this was where I bought this lovely hat I was wearing in this photos.
