For years, I have been trying to make it a habit of drinking tea. I tried all kinds that I can find in the market, be it plain tea or gourmet. I have also been testing ways to drink it without having the side effects such as heart palpitations to no avail, until after watching a show on Netflix where Sun Tea was mentioned and it caught my interest so I did my research about it and immediately tried it. To my surprise, it did not give me and heart palpitation and I actually love the taste so I thought why share it, maybe there is someone out there who, like me, would like to love tea and enjoy the benefits it gives but cannot because of the taste and side effects.
Ingredients:
You will need tea and often people use Green tea but I opted for Thai Bao tea that my brother gave me when he visited from Vietnam. You will also need a sweetener, lemon and ice.

How I prepared it:
1. I filled a mason jar with cold water and placed 3 bags of Thai Bao tea.

2. I left it under the sun for at least 2 hours.

3. Once it’s warm enough after leaving it under the sun for at least 2 hours, I prepared it the way I prepare a regular Iced Tea. The only difference is, I did not boil it but left it under the heat of the sun.

Like what I have mentioned in the beginning, this particular tea preparation did not give me any bad side effect. I am not sure if it has to do with leaving it under the heat of the sun or the particular tea I used. Next time, I will use Green tea to find out. Also, the distinct taste of the sun in this tea made me love it more! ☺️💜
