I thought of writing about my dear Coco for my first blog.
Coco is a Shih Tzu who will be turning 6 months. We adopted (actually bought) him last May 5, 2021 from a breeder in Lancaster, PA. He was just 8 weeks old and I was a newbie fur Mommy. It took me years of convincing from my husband before I finally decided to get one. Months before I started looking, I did a lot of researches as to which breed will not affect my allergies, does not bark that much, that I can train and discipline and is intellectual. After many months of researching, I decided to look for a Shih Tzu for the following reasons.
- They don’t shed fur/hair thus will not affect my allergies.
- Very affectionate
- They only bark to alert you.
- Do not require much walking, although they’re energetic.
- Intellectual

My husband and I do not have children and so Coco is like our child. He acts like a human being therefore we treat him like one. He made me a better person.
