Some people do not like garlic much or at all, but I love it. I can eat toasted garlic by itself, add it in dips or I add a lot of minced garlic when I cook Adobo. Not only that garlic can make your food taste better, it also has many health benefits. As someone who came from the Philippines, garlic is a staple in our kitchen and in almost every dish we cook, we use garlic. That’s the reason why when I was thinking for a chicken recipe with mushrooms, I chose the one with garlic, lots of garlic.

Ingredients:

Chicken Thigh (I cooked 5 pieces)

Bella Mushrooms

Half & Half (1/3 cup)

Thinly Sliced Garlic not minced

Salt & Pepper to taste

Olive oil

Sesame seeds (garnishing)

Broccolini (garnishing)

How to do:

I pre-cooked the chicken by frying it, I made sure not to over cook it. I set the fried chicken thighs aside while sautéing the mushrooms in a lot of garlic. Once the mushrooms are ready, I added the fried chicken thighs then half & half to thicken the sauce and make it look creamy. Add salt and pepper depending on your preference. I steamed the broccolini for garnishing.

Here’s the finish product!

I forgot to clean the plate again before taking photo, I will try my best not to forget next time 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I hope you will try this recipe, it’s so easy and delicious!
