One of the campgrounds we have visited in our years of RVing, as RV aficionados call it, is Caledonia State Park which is located in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. This is one of the most peaceful campgrounds we’ve stayed in. You will feel very close to nature for it has different species of trees and plants as well as streams and not to forget the many trails it has where you can walk at the same time enjoy nature.
My husband and I stayed here multiple times which made it obvious that we really like the place. People who love to go picnic and enjoy nature also come here and as far as I know, it is for free if you will only stay for a picnic. They have picnic tables under beautiful trees and some are very close if not right where the stream is. The park rangers are there to provide protection so you will feel safe for your stay.
Let me share with you some of the photos we took during our stays at Caledonia State Park.

As mentioned, we enjoyed our first stay due to its proximity to nature so we returned last summer. See photos.

We returned to Caledonia State Park 2-3 more times but will not include the pictures I took for those were mostly the food we prepared.
Whether you camp in a trailer, RV or tent, you may want to check this campground out especially if you are in the surrounding area of Fayetteville, PA. I recommend that you book your stay way ahead of time for they’re always fully booked.
Once again, thank you for allowing me share with you another camping experience and don’t forget to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Till next blog!
