Before we became very busy, we were into unplanned weekend getaways which we have not done for quite a while. This Saturday we thought of getting dressed and just drive without any planned destination and I thought I’ll blog about it on a real-time manner.

First stop, we went to a Filipino eatery in Kensington, Maryland and ordered our favorites Chicken Adobo, Sisig, fried rice and Empanadas. Everything was good except the Pork Sisig was a little tough.

We also went to Fort Belvoir in Virginia, see our photos by the lake.

Our last stop is the Commissary and bought us some groceries.

We didn’t have to spend a fortune but he had fun, even our Coco. We even enjoyed the beautiful scenery even if in many areas fall leaves are passed their peak. This is my idea of having fun especially on a weekend with my family.
