Bulalo àla Cris

Bulalo àla Cris

This recipe is very timely because wherever you are in the world, it’s either cool, cooler, cold or colder. Bulalo is a beef dish from the Philippines. It is a light colored soup that is made by cooking beef shanks and bone marrow until the collagen and fat has melted into the clear broth. It typically includes leafy vegetables, corn on the cob, scallions, onions, garlic, ginger, and fish sauce.

Let’s do but please know that this is my first time to cook REAL Bulalo soup and I thought of putting twist in how it’s cooked and prepared.

Ingredients:

  • beef shank/beef with bone
  • onion
  • pepper corn
  • napa cabbage
  • corn cob
  • fish sauce
  • green onion and pork rind (garnishing)

How I cooked it:

I served it white it’s hot adding chopped green onion and crushed pork rind for garnishing and Umami taste.

I hope you’ll try it and let me know if you like it. Follow me here for more similar blogs, till next 😊💜!
